This theme is built on the Warp framework, a well-engineered theme framework for WordPress and Joomla, and utilizes all of its latest features. The user interface is powered by UIkit, a lightweight and modular front-end framework, which provides the theme's styling. The theme also comes with a wide range of different layouts and widget variations.

Styles

We provide lovingly crafted style variations to give you a glimpse of what is possible with this theme. The built-in theme customizer allows you to modify colors, fonts, sizes and much more without any CSS knowledge. Just choose your colors with the color picker and adjust the theme with only a few clicks. Click on one of the images to see the style.

Our team members are the face of the Body of Christ to those God sends our way. Our task is guests feel the love of God by truly welcoming them into God’s house through friendly and authentically gracious service. We also benefit our members by providing information and guidance.

Ushers/መስተንገዶ

We assist in seating members and visitors and provide care for the needs of the people during the service. Attend to the needs of the visiting speaker or guests of honour. We also maintain the decorum of the service, according to the church’s need. Watch for the safety of the congregation and acting as the line of first response to medical emergencies. Collect the offering. Attend to altar ministry or response ministry as people respond to the sermon’s invitation.

Nathanim/ናታኒም

Catering team/ ማዕድ

We enjoy spending time together and feel that sharing a meal is a great way to fellowship and share the gospel. Throughout the course of the year we serve tea, coffee and refreshments on sundays after the service. Our main ones are during Easter, Christmas,  Ethiopian holidays, outings, and conferences. It would be great to see you there.

Tithes And Offering/አስራትና መባ

Our team collects Tithes and offering from the congregation during sunday service. According to 2 Corinthians 9:7 "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

The Lord's Supper/የጌታ እራት

ማቴዎስ 26: ሲበሉም ኢየሱስ እንጀራን አንሥቶ ባረከ ቈርሶም ለደቀ መዛሙርቱ ሰጠና። እንካችሁ፥ ብሉ ይህ ሥጋዬ ነው አለ። ጽዋንም አንሥቶ አመስግኖም ሰጣቸው እንዲህም አለ። ሁላችሁ ከእርሱ ጠጡ፤ ስለ ብዙዎች ለኃጢአት ይቅርታ የሚፈስ የአዲስ ኪዳን ደሜ ይህ ነው። ነገር ግን እላችኋለሁ፥ በአባቴ መንግሥት ከእናንተ ጋር ከዚህ ከወይን ፍሬ አዲሱን እስከምጠጣበት እስከዚያ ቀን ድረስ ከዛሬ ጀምሬ አልጠጣውም።

Widgetkit 2

Venice Theme features new Widgetkit 2, a completely overhauled version of our toolkit. You can now insert and edit widgets, like a slideshow or media grid, directly inside articles and modules. You can organize your media through its integrated media manager and upload images and other binary files via drag and drop.

The Widgetkit Slideshow supports videos as well as images and can be set to fullscreen mode. Additionally, Venice Theme includes its own Switcher that uses thumbnails to navigate through different content panes.

Socialbar

Venice Theme provides an additional Socialbar Position, integrated nicely into the header. You can modify it completely to add your own icons or apply a different toggler. Here's an example of how we applied the Toggle component from UIkit to the Socialbar.
